The Sonflower

A sonflower seed is planted into the earth, but it grows to be like no other. It is different, not only in its size and beauty but because of the healing that all who touch the stern receive. But the joy of the summer is not to last. A ferocious storm beats upon the sonflower until it can stand no longer. For three seasons it lays dead in the earth, but the many seeds that the sonflower has produced will eventually live again, bringing resurrection life to many.
